Smoothie of the Week 2: Sweet & Tangy Nana
I have to apologize that I have missed 2 weeks worth of CYD’s Weekly Smoothies! I had a girlfriend who is an amazing healer herself tell me not avoid mixing fruits with vegetables. I have my reservations about that, but I wanted to make a complete Fruit smoothie for those who may have the same sentiment. So, I call this the Sweet & Tangy Nana Smoothie. It is a perfect smoothie to wake up to, because it has that tangy zest from the ripened green mango, green apple & clementine that will get you on your feet! It is bursting with energy to get you to kick start your day off right.
Serving size: 3 – 4
Ingredients:
4 baby sized clementines or 2 “large” clementines
1 large banana
1 Ripened Green Mango
2 Green Apples
1.5 Cup of Water
Why eat these fruits?
(I will update this and add clementines & Mango tomorrow)
