Week 1: Observing Your Emotions with Mindfulness 7
The first week we will be working on different methods that will allow you to simply observe your emotions with mindfulness. It is important that we are able to observe what we feel and feel it in our body in order to know it exists, so we can actually realize and recognize it to do something about it.

Day 1: Introduction to Observing Your Emotions with Mindfulness
28-Days of Emotional Wellness
Week 1: Observing Your Emotions
Welcome to Day 1! You have just jumped into committing to your self-care for the next 28-days. I promise that each audio recording will not be as long as the initial recording. I just wanted to give you some insight through the process. Week 1 will simply be observing our emotions throughout the day. I will go over in the audio recording why it’s important to work on your emotional wellness and how it affect your body and even down to your genes. I may have got into a little bit of too much science, but I think if we understood that there is more to it then it just being in our head is important to understand.
If you can’t listen to the pre-recording before the emotional wellness prompt then you can fast forward to 17:48
Download this .pdf file to use for the week: Week 1 Observe Your Emotions
Note: If more than one kind of emotion arises then feel free to just use several copies of the .pdf files or write a similar format in your personal journal. It’s simply allowing you to notice and observe your emotions as they occur and where in the body it arises and what triggers these emotions.
